鋼木結構是現代鋼結構與傳統的木結構相結合的一種混合結構方式。柱梁等受力構件采用鋼結構型式,外包采用木結構型式。廳堂館所吊頂、門窗、欄杆、樓梯等均用鋼木結構,既具有傳統建築風格,又堅固耐用,已被廣泛采用。鋼木結構建築物被賦予一種獨有的語義內涵。
結構木材集成材柱梁力學性能,使用多塊木材,借助粘合劑,經過壓力,加工制作的構件,力學性質大大增強。結構木材集成材采用SE構法、SE工法制作。木質集成材構件、鋼制連接件、鋼制螺栓、鋼制銷子,組成木結構承重框架,集成材構件橫斷面損失較少,力學性能較好。傳統的卯榫結構,木材構件橫斷面損失較大,力學性能較差。
